Getting in touch with with fabrics, fits and faded blue hues from older decades at Levi’s Vintage Clothing felt like taking a little history class in American denim heritage. This boyfriend jacket takes me back at least twenty years but on more recent notes: the team at Levi’s told me about a pretty genius (jean-ius?) project that’s taking place this entire month. A train is traveling from New York City to San Francisco, stopping at nine train stations across the country (which kind of explains the name Station to Station, no?). It makes me feel rather optimistic that a fashion brand decided to step up and foray in to local film, music and food (I would love love love to explore the different American cuisines on these nine stops. While mouthwatering I’m thinking about banana bread, pulled pork sandwiches, chicken and biscuits… Can’t I just buy a train ticket and tag along?!).
